And yet they are not bandwidth-hungry as they are ‘virtual’ and hosted back in a secure, data centre. The benefit of the data centre is that it provides excellent back up, reliability and redundancy. Also, it avoids duplication of the full application for each mobile worker, saving both on cost (software/maintenance) and storage.
